Yesterday, I needed a ride home after doing some errands. DH was working late and I didn't have cash on me for a taxi. I called my neighbor, asking if I can borrow money, she didn't have either.

I stood there, hopeless. I turned to Hashem: "you know that I am exhausted and I need to get home" as I was saying these words, a family member pulled up. He offered me a ride. I was speechless. When I told him what had transpired he was amazed as well. He told me he made a detour to get the weekly publication that is distributed for free.

I sound holy. But let me tell you a bit about myself...

I have a hard life. Going from nisayon to nisayon. I have no relationship with Hashem. I am really struggling religion wise. But the day before, DH, (who doesn't keep shabbos or kosher) told me about the concept of talking to God. And how we don't have to be perfect in every aspect to talk to him in our language as we go about our day.

And then this happened...

I hope this encourages and lifts others like it did for me....

I do that all the time.

1. I need to have money in the bank in order for my debit card to go through.

2. It is like a 2 minute trip (10 minute walk) and they usually get upset for calling them on such a small trip

I read recently (somewhere on the Breslov blog) that Hashem is like the father who takes a few steps away from his child. Why? Is he trying to get away from the child?

He steps away because he's teaching the child to walk, and when the child takes a few steps forward he reaches out his arms to catch the child, and is so proud!

Just step forward into emuna, and Hashem will be waiting with open arms.

Amazing, OP!
I recently heard that we are "kegemul alei imo" - like a nursing child with its mother, where the mother produces milk according to the needs of the child. So too, Hashem gives us what we need, as long as we ask Him for it.
