Where can we go chol hamoed, free or cheap

The beach! It's usually empty this time of year, and the few people who are there are usually fully dressed since the weather is cooler now. Avon by the sea is beautiful, has a pretty boardwalk, restrooms and a huge playground on the sand.
Brick reservoir, walk the trail or bike it. Bring your own or rent but that will cost $$$.
Ocean county park, can go biking, walking, bring a frisbee/ball for family game.
