I just started Frumcycle, a yahoo group similar to Freecycle, but specifically for the frum community. It is an online gemach where people can post thing that they want to give away, and find someone who needs them. People can also make requests for item that they or others need.
The first group has already started in Melbourne, Australia, and I am about to start a group for Baltimore, MD. I think that it would be a great thing to start in other communities as well. For more information you can PM me.
