I heard someone singing a song all about how this boy is so big because he's five. She said it was written by a friend of hers but I don't know frum female kids music so was wondering if anyone had heard of it?
Thanks!

I think it goes like this:
I’m 5, I’m 5, I’m a great big girl I’m 5
I can say Modeh ani and I don’t need my Mommy, To help me anymore. I like to do the mitzvos (forgot the rest, sorry!)

I’m five
I’m five
I’m a great big boy I’m 5.
I can say modah and,
And I don’t need my mommy,
To help me anymore.
I like to do the mitzvos,
Cause I’m not 4 anymore.
What do you think? I’m 3?
Not me!
What do you think? I’m 4?
Not anymore!
I’m not even 4.5
I’m 5, I’m 5
I’m a great big boy 5
One day in my class,
There was a great big party,
And a kid in my class,
He acted like a smarty,
He threw popcorn all over the floor,
And then morah said he has to clean it up.
But I said,
Don’t worry Morah,
I’ll help him.
I’m a big boy now.
I’m 5
I’m 5
I’m a great big boy, I’m 5!

It’s on a tape from the early 80s that was written and produced by Ella Adler. I think it’s called kosher fairytales.

thanks! you know your music! they are out of stock though. oh well. Do you have any other tapes to recommend? Looking for something for preschool and elementary school that won't annoy the parents. Just songs or mostly songs, no fake voices or stories about the evil non-Jews? Nothing scary or anything. Just good and wholesome.

It's an old song. The original with slightly different lyrics was sung by Danny Kaye
