I saw a 5 minute video of what looked like every Chossid in New Square lined up to shake Sholom Rubashkin's hand, this past Thursday night. It was beautiful. It made it seem like the Skverer Rebbe, amush, and Lubavitcher Rebbe, a"h, had some hiskashrus, if what seems like every Skverer Chossid came out to greet Rubashkin.
What was the relationship between the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Skverer Rebbe?
Did the two Rebbes ever visit one another or offer any opinions on the other Chassidus?
Did the Skverer Rebbe approve of the Kiruv that Lubavitch holds so dear?
