I always wanted to be an actress. Like a real one, in Hollywood. Even as a kid I used to day dream that I was gonna be friends with the olsen twins that I was obsessed with. Lately iv been feeling as if I would still want to be on the red carpet and I still have this feeling of missing out on that lifestyle. Clearly that’s not happening in this lifetime.
What was your career dream as a kid? Did you accomplish it?

All things blue and flower power, those are totally attainable to you! I thought it was dreams! I would vote for harmony and so would everyone else here. And touring the world? In like 5 years, our CARS will be able to do that!
But you wouldn't want me trying to negotiate a hostage situation! (even tho it IS a dream of mine..)

High end pastry chef.
There is no way to get the proper training without compromising kashrus. It's also not a family-friendly profession.

Maybe a cooking blog, where your niche is upper scale dishes that are possible to make at home?
I would totally read a blog like that!

Efrat Libfroind( I can't remember how her last name is spelled) wrote in the Ami how she trained in Europe and EY and other places. She gave out cookbooks and is a major pastry chef. It's totally doable.

She is high end in the Jewish world, but not at the level I'm talking about.

Thanks, I've considered it, but always thought it would be the kind of thing to have no readers.

To change the “system” by:
- modifying the schools ciruculum to stop focusing on esoteric ideas but rather teach practical things like finances, relationships, emunah, household management, self care, child rearing etc.
- to teach kallos properly (drop the chumras in the bedroom, bc, to be explicit etc)
- to change the shidduch system- less hurt more action
- teaching children to love yiddishkeit so we won’t need an organization to help the OTD.
- to make a worldwide initiation to promote achdus and acceptance amongst all Jews.
I also wanted to do kiruv in a far flung locale.
Today I just want to change myself and survive.

Maaaan! I love you but you just made us all look bad! Except for maybe running an autistic school...
And you left out:
Bring Moshiach
Invite him for Shabbos
Invite the whole shul..
I'm glad I don't own a gun. I might have to shoot me.

Novelist.
I did become a writer but I only do non-fiction.
I still could write a novel but it would get me banned in the frum world. I'm not even looking to air any dirty laundry, just to write raw honest books about life.
