I'm trying to do the taxes by myself online (H$R Block). I don't have a clue, so help me out. Do I need to ask the school, since it's private, for some sort of form for the tax return? when filing it out, is there a section in the education that I need to look into in order to get a deduction?
Thanks

Unfortunately you can't deduct private school tuition.

Tuition is not a deduction though we all wish it is.

If you live in a place where boys have a hybrid of school and day camp in July some accountants consider it to be a child care for the child and dependent care credit. (Like any other day camp)

Childcare for children under 5 and day camp for kids can be deducted. You need the school's EIN number.
