For those who have been there, if you had only 24 hours, what would you do (with 3 kids of pre-teen temperament in tow).

At a minimum, you must see the Colosseum, and if possible, take a tour to see some of the inside. The Great Synagogue there is magnificent and very close the Jewish Ghetto with yummy food at BaGhetto Milky and Yotvata. Depending on your kids, you may also wish to walk through the Arch of Titus with its famous image of the menorah (near the Colosseum), Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps.

The pantheon is my favorite building in Rome. If you can afford it, get a tour guide of the Vatican with a jewish focus.
