I know there are those on here who think MM poems are silly. But I like them. But also not very talented with poetry 😞

Can someone think of a poem for my MM of chocolate chip cookies & coffee/tea (assorted teas).
Something along the lines of
The cookies go with any accompanied beverage whether they are in the mood of coffee or any kind of tea.
Am I getting my msg across??

Thx!!!!!!!

Cookies for you,
Cookies for me,
Have them with coffee
Or chocolate and tea.

When you need a coffee break,
And want something to eat,
Enjoy these awesome cookies ,
With a glass of herbal tea.

These cookies are so versatile,
As you will come to see,
They go with any beverage,
Whether coffee, milk or tea.

Purim is a day of fun
And festivi "tea"
But sometimes we are too busy
With all the activi"tea"
So take a little break
And have a little treat
This little snack is just your "cup of tea"
So tas"tea" and good to eat

With all types of tea
That one can choose
Have someone over
To sip and to Schmooze

For those who were up
With kids that were sick
A hot cup of coffee
Would just do the trick!

And those who are blessed
To be model thin
Can eat a cookie
It won't be a sin!

Enjoy and chill out
Make most of the day
Pesach is comming
Just 4 weeks away!

I do love the poems & thanks for the help but when I started putting together my MM with the assorted teas/coffees t I thought it would be so clever to incorporate the names of them them:
Feeling soothed; Energized; feeling calm. The Starbucks instant coffees are 3 dif strength choices - light, med & dark roast.

Everyone can use
A chance to take a cup
Depending on your mood,
Here's a choice for filling up.

Light roast for relaxing,
Medium for on the go,
And when you need the extra charge
To the dark one, you can go.

And with your chosen cuppa,
Some cookies for a treat,
Here's a bracha that your Purim
Is calm, energized, and sweet!

This isn't a poem, but you may want to speak with your rav as to whether the coffee and tea packets count as minim for your MM. They may not count as "ready to eat," thus leaving you with only the cookies.

U need to only give one person 2 minim, to be yotzei, which I am - giving my sons rebbi wine with a bought bakery cake.

Thanks for taking the time to
Post
Appreciate it!

True. (I assume your husband is also giving two minim.)

It's my opinion that if you're investing time, money and effort in giving additional food gifts on Purim, they may as well be kosher MM, but I realize that not everyone thinks that way.

You can always add a beautiful ripe lemon or a honey stick so you have another ready food.

(I'm not really sure that a lemon counts as food that people eat, or that a honey stick is a sufficient enough portion.)

BTW I remember learning that you don't need 2 minim, just 2 distinct pieces of food. Contrary to popular belief, I know.

OK, my mistake. It does need to be 2 different foods, but not 2 different brachos.

No, there actually is a shita that you just need two manos (not two minim). If you'd send two manos' worth of the same kind of cookies (I.e. two respectable portions), you could be yotzei according to that opinion, though AFAIK the accepted psak is two minim.
