Does such a place exist?

I consider my family out of town mentality heimish(not chasidish)

We get along with everyone and we have a bunch of kids so I would need an option with religious schools around.

I am in the tristate area now but my husband isn't really happy and we need a cheaper place to live. I would also need a good hospital in that area because I have a child with a medical condition.

It depends on your definition of cheap, but warm established OOT communities worth investigating further include North Miami Beach, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta.

Try New Haven Ct. The community is near Yale New Haven Hospital and there is a wonderful day school and you are still in the tri-state area.

I live here in Detroit and there are several choices of schools and hospitals and Beaumont Hospital has a pediatric department.

Pittsburgh, PA has a couple of nice day schools and has good medical care.

So I am not looking for too warm- just warmer than the trip-state area.

Rochester, NY has a wonderful community. I've lived in a few different places and this is the happiest I've ever been anywhere (I've been here for over 5 years now). Great community that really has its priorities straight - people are warm and genuine and accepting. Golisano Children's Hospital (part of Strong Memorial Hospital) is excellent and only a 5-10 minute drive away. Feel free to ask any questions you have!

Cross posted with all the "warm" posts - I didn't realize you meant weather. Rochester has cold winters. Sorry. :-(

In general, the farther south you go, the warmer the weather will be. So again, it depends how warm you want and how far from NY you're willing to go. A place like Norfolk could work. The Midwest generally has cold winters, so that would be out. If you're willing to go farther, I still think Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas are all great options (and larger Jewish communities than Norfolk).
