I'm looking for a specific poem about prayer. The problem is that I don't remember the name of the author. If I can remember correctly, it's about someone who skips prayers and then realizes that if only he had made some time for prayer, his whole day would've been much better.
Does anyone have a clue about what I'm talking about? If you do, can you try to help me locate this poem?
If you know of something similar, can you tell me about it too?

This it?
I got up early one morning,
And rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish,
I didn’t have time to pray.
Troubles just tumbled about me,
And heavier came each task.
"Why doesn’t G-d help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn’t ask."
I tried to come into G-d’s presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
G-d gently and lovingly chided,
"Why, child, you didn’t knock."
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on gray and bleak.
I wondered why G-d didn’t show me.
He said, "You didn’t seek."
I woke up early this morning,
And paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.

No idea. I remembered some of the lines so I did a google search but it didn't come up with an author. Maybe try some more googling...
