Plain Greek yogurt should have. A lot of the kind in capsules are already dead and weak.

Klaire labs. Just make sure it's refrigerated.
Was recommended by my chiropractor/kinesiologist

Those in the fridge are always better then the shelf stable ones. look for one that has more than one strain. also, a health food store should be able to direct you.
The prodermix are good. assuming your asking for a kid now? the klaire labs also good.
(pls check with your lor re kashrus)
for myself I take the womens complete- ultimate flora 90bil. from renew life.

Another thing to keep in mind is to switch around different brands every day or so you get a variety of strains.

As other posters have mentioned, probiotics that require refrigeration are the nost effective. They can be found in the refrigerator in most health food stores.

Bumping this up for my fussy, gassy newborn. Are these kosher? Do they need to be certified?

I have tried for one of my kids who needed and the most effective was definitely Klaire Labs. A friend of mine has used that brand for herself and also saw very clear results.

In my experience, the ones that are not refrigerated had not been effective at all. Then again maybe for a very mild case it would do the trick ...

I've found the probiotics in coconut yogurt to be good quality. There are six probiotics listed on the label. (I love vanilla coconut yogurt)

They actually just came out with a baby probiotic + prebiotic. I saw it advertised.

I just googled it and found that they have a website, and the new product is there. I never tried the infant powder, so I wonder how well it dissolves... If you try it, let us know.
Thanks.
