After 15 years of servicing clients in my home with curtains all around, we are considering extending the house to accomadate a private office. While we would do that, we would push out the kitchen and add a guest suite (w/smallest bathroom possible). Both extra rooms would be on the smaller side.
All these rooms (2 rooms and kitchen) would be sharing walls.
I know it depends on a lot of things, but any idea how much this could potentially cost?
Located in the tristate area.
Working on finding an afforadble architect, was just seeing anyone had a ball park idea

Every project is different but architect is about 3-4 Grand at least and if you are doing an extension you need to dig a foundation it's probably close to 80-100k depending on how many floors up you go

The architects you interview should be able to give you an idea of the cost per square foot. We met the architects at our home so they could get an idea of the project and they each gave us estimates of costs per square foot and helped us figure out the sq footage of the addition.
And, bathrooms and kitchens are more expensive per sq ft.

How much will it cost? Double the most you think it could possibly cost in your wildest dreams, and 50% more than your contractor promises you is the upper end of the total bill! This might be a slight exaggeration for effect, but not much.
