I very recently heard that there now exist pop up libraries, where people can put outside their homes a box or bookcase filled with books and anyone who walks/drives by can stop and borrow a book or two. Also, they can contribute their own book or two to the pop up library. Is anyone familiar with this? If so, I really need more info....like can I just walk over to the pop up library, browse the books and take a couple? Do I need to ring the doorbell and ask permission? Any info would be appreciated. TIA

You can borrow books and donate books- do not ring doorbells.
