Does anyone have experience with building a modular home?
What was the process like? Did costs end up being close to what you thought they would be? Did you do a lot of customization? Did you put in a kosher kitchen? Did you have designs to choose from or did you have to design it for yourself?
Do you have a company you'd recommend?

I was briefly looking into this for a vacation home. It doesn't seem to save that much money on building but does generally speed up building time. But even that wasn't the case as of when I started my inquiries because there were all kinds of shortages of building materials due to covid. Of course this could vary widely region to region and company to company so definitely do your own research. Good luck!

I am in central NJ. Which modular home company did she use? Was she happy with the results? Was it easy to customize how she wanted it? What was her final sq ft price? How long did it take from start to finish? Did she look into other companies too and what did she like better about the one she eventually used?
