Went to Dr last week, said it's viral. Got worse over shabbos, had 100.7 this morning. Would you go back to Dr or still wait it out?

Yes, because now that there is a sudden fever it's more concerning. It could have turned into bacterial. I've had that happen with my kids where it became walking pneumonia . Go back to the doctor.

Dr for sure.
And maybe ask about doing a nebulizer for the cough.

Since it's worse I would probably go - only if it's enough to make sleeping at night difficult. Fever is still less than 101. I would use a humidifier and give it another day or so before going back. If it's bacterial it will get worse. If it's viral it shouldn't get worse than that.
An option you may not have thought of - you can call your pediatrician and ask over the phone if they think you should come back. You can also call your insurance company - they often have nurses on call 24 hours a day to answer questions.
