I've had them for quite a while. They don't pill or fade in the wash, but Mrs. XYZ is right, they do tend to shrink.
I would suggest getting a size or two larger than (your daughter?) needs.

Thanks, y'all. So the original shrinking is the only problem? Do they continue shrinking after the first washing?
If the wearer is a size 8, what size do they need to allow for shrinking? Medium or Large?

The heavy cotton sweatshirty kinds don’t shrink so much but the thin cotton ones shrink a ton. for an 8 in the thin ons, I'd take like a 12!

I think an 8 is usually a medium, so I would suggest the large.

I got one as a gift when my 1st was born 3 1/2 years ago.
Um... I'm not impressed. It faded, became very thin and flimsy (good for summer, though!) and the worst part--- the buttonholes unraveled and became too loose. Now it doesn't button.

I know this post is so old but where can you buy these nightgowns? I dug out an old one from years ago and want to get another. Do you have a store name/number?
TIA

They have both kids and women. They have large (women) sizes too.
I’m sure you can find in other stores in Lakewood but Rockbottom will probably be the cheapest place.

New additions in Lakewood.
Mine don't shrink. I don't put them in the dryer.
