We just moved to a new neighborhood. My daughter is very shy. I would like to invite some girls from the neighborhood to come play. I think most of them have chutes and latters, candy land, memory which is what we have. What other games does your daughter enjoy playing with friends. Also what else could I do or get for kids to want to come over

offer snacks.
At this age I think they still play with dolls and accessories.
Some of my kids and their friends were very into playmobil and/or lego at that age.
most card games are appropriate at this point, if they don't necessitate fluent reading skills (like uno or go fish)
crafts are usually very popular at this age.
Even simple coloring, cutting, pasting.
Have coloring pages for them to pick, or even just print out a picture.
If you want to go all out and bake with them you'll win mother of the year

We love board games but I have found the kids play best with others when engaging in pretend play - dress up, playmobil, pretend food, etc.

My kids enjoy spin a slice, zingo, shopping cart mania, trouble.
I find when friends come over they're more into dolls, doll house & pretend play.

Most commonly enjoyed activities by my first grader and her friends:
Anything creative like making slime, different types of coloring activities, using odds and ends to create different things
Baking, anything goes but especially cookies that can be customized with toppings or different shapes
Playing outside/ in the park with jump ropes, roller skates
