Hi ;
Does anyone know of a good Yeshiva preferably in Manhattan or nearby for kids that need to catch up? We're between modern Orthodox and a little to the right. I need a school that teaches and is ok with accepting bright kids that are a little behind. Thank you

Are you referring to bright kids with learning disabilities or other special needs, or bright kids who don't have a yeshiva background and are thus missing foundational skills?

If you're willing to consider NJ check out rynj in River edge. It's not far from the gwb and they have a good resource room program.

I don't know have any recommendations, but I'd suggest contacting Oorah. They specialize in trying to get kids to leave public schools and enroll in Jewish day schools and yeshivos. They certainly know about the gaps that those who make the leap experience, and should be able to advise you about which schools are best equipped to help your kids make the transition smoothly.
