If you wear a Monte Carlo slinky skirt what color tights/ socks do you wear.

I’m not a teen so maybe there’s a different answer to the question-

I’m in my 40’s- would rather wear tights for the control top but I think it looks funny with nude tights sticking out. I also think it’s funny to wear black tights in the summer.

What would you do?

I wear my black straight slinky skirts with nude knee high stockings and cute ballet flats.

I think tights would make it cling and hang funny

So it’s fine for nude to show a drop on the bottom? I wasn’t sure... I never noticed it on anyone so I thought maybe people wear black socks

I’m not so thin so I bought a bigger size than I need so it’s not clingy. It doesn’t hang funny because of the tights ..

This may sounde crazy but when I was a little bigger and didn't like leaving my legs bare I wore srocking with black crew socks on top. Now I just wear crew socks.

Does everyone wear a slip underneath?
I don’t like how the seams of the slip show through the material.

Coming from the more "with it" circles:
Socks with a monte carlo skirt is always great.
Nude pantyhose look great with a long skirt and would be considered more dressy - Many women wear this when they want to be in a long skirt but don't want to feel like a hs girl in camp. Looks very nice with ballet flats but rlly goes with anything, even sneakers (Like Adidas)
Regarding slip - YES!!! The skirt is see-thru even if it doesn't seem that way in your bedroom mirror... I wear a slip that hits just on my knees.
And side note: it also helps ensure that the line from your panties doesn't show through... I cringe every time I see it.
