Which brand of shoes do you get for your little children with all of the above?
Child is 3 and has orthotics.

Look into Billy’s they are amazing with any orthotics
If a child has an orthotic they don’t need as good of a shoe just s/t that’s deep enough

Plae! They are the best for orthodics bec u can order larger straps and they have an insert that comes out, so they really accommodate orthodics nicely. They are cute too and machine washable.

Thank you all for responses.

From what I see these shoes are all suitable for the orthotics but won’t be strong enough for the overpronation.

He has been wearing kickers but they aren’t strong enough anymore- they have softened them too much- cost cutting I assume.

PT here. What kind of orthotics? They should help with the pronation so the shoe rigidity is less important.

At the moment they are off the shelf and customised for him- bits added underneath.

Even in high top strong leather shoes he isn’t getting enough support. Kicker brand used to be amazing and kept his ankles fully upright but they have softened (cheapened) them and it’s just not good enough.

Did you try new balance? You might need a more supportive orthotic really, the next step up would be AFOs. Talk to your orthotist/PT.
