practical gifts like snap n go , bundle me, (for baby). a day at a spa plus babysitting, take out hift certificate,gym membership if you are close with the person and know she'd like that( for mom).

I agree with the Pack 'n Play, swing or baby carrier idea. I have used all three for my kids and I just had no. 6. The Baby Bjorn is the best but they are closer to $100 I think unless you get it on ebay.

So glad to hear someone else who did!!! My dd used hers til 7 mos. But she was very late to roll over (9 mos). I kept thinking "Is it b/c we still swaddle her?" No, she was late on everything. B"H, she's running around and fine now. Just glad to hear that we weren't alone on the swaddle.
