My son is in Mesivta and only comes home every 5 weeks. Wondering what others do on Sunday with their sons in similar situations. Thanx

My Mesivta age son had off last Sunday. I saw that he really needed something fun to do. I kept my elementary age boys home and we went to play laser tag and arcades. We went in the morning when it will be quieter.
Other times I took him out to eat just us two together. He is usually happy just to have a quiet day at home.

What does a quiet day at home mean, what does he actually do?

Mine wakes up late catches the late minyan, eats a hearty breakfast, and goes to bais medrash. He likes to just chill and come and go when he pleases.

Wakes up late, goes to minyan , stays in shul until noon learning what he wants to learn instead of according to yeshiva schedule. Comes home for lunch. Then he'll play games with his brothers. Reads books. Etc. just hangs out at home. No pressure to have to do and be anywhere but what he chooses.
