my son had back surgery and needs a hospital style chair to sit on, does anyone know where I can get one in brooklyn

Beneinu or Yad Sara might have them, or know where to get them. Ezras Achim also does medical equipment, if you have one in your area.
He should have a refuah sheleimah!

Refuah shleima.
Is he still in the hospital? Talk to the hospital social worker / discharge team about rental of durable medical equipment, and how your insurance company will pay.
