Just watched it with my 5 year old last night! But we are likely more to the left than OP looking for reccs. She also loved the sound of music (my favorite) and Mary poppins.

We might be talking about 2 different Parent Traps. I just watch the one from 1998 and there is no hanging bra scene. There is a man in a bathing suit but I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Newsies the movie includes a solo song by Medda Larkin, in a hi-lo gown that is split up to mid thigh in front. It also includes an implied romance between the Jewish Sarah and the non Jewish main character. Personally I love the movie and I think it meets general Ametican standards for "clean," but probably not frum standards.

There is a women appearing throughout and they do kiss in the end. I guess you can fast forward that part. I personally don’t care about these things, but I know others do. Also, there is a scene with a show women named medda I believe. And that scene is not appropriate at all. I am quite lax with these things and I think I wouldn’t want my boys to watch that. Other then that it’s a beautiful and very clean movie. I highly recommend with fast forwarding those parts.
