We might be talking about 2 different Parent Traps. I just watch the one from 1998 and there is no hanging bra scene. There is a man in a bathing suit but I don’t see anything wrong with that.

I watched both and am referring to the first one. I don't fully remember the 1998 one, but I think there were other issues with that one, especially being a later version in a time where anything goes.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the original one) is 100% kosher. You can find it on amazon prime to stream.

Well movies have ratings and there are lots of websites with reviews as to how family friendly they are. I doubt they would include things such as a married couple hugging (as in home alone) but I think people who find that that problematic shouldn’t be watching secular movies at all.

Ok, I guess I’m old school. I never saw the new one. Funny that a later version of a movie is cleaner than an older one.

Wizard of Oz

It’s animated, but I really liked Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
Also Toy Story and Wall-E.

Different times called for different ratings. What used to be R is now PG-13
PG-13 didn't used to be a thing
PG stuff today would have been G

Maybe the rating system needs to be revamped

Common sense media is a site that has a lot of this information. Though it’s hard for me to wrap my head around considering a movie unclean if it has a woman in it.

Not sure which one that is but we preferred willie wonka and the choc factory as opposed to Charlie and the choc factory which we found too scary

I love home alone and didn't remember that. It's probably the kind of thing that will flash for a second and of over their head.

What’s wrong with married parents giving a chaste hug and kiss?

OP asked for clean. Hugging and kissing isn't entirely clean. It may be nothing wrong to show your kids but it's not totally clean.

Line from the “newer” parent trap “marriage isn’t just about s*x you know” or something to that affect
