Incredible amount of variables. There may be an effective treatment plan by then (remdesivir and multiple other treatment plans including hydroxichloriquine are showing potential promising results), there may be sufficient testing capacity for modern world to get ahead of curve overall, Israel may stay ahead of curve, as it appears to bli ayin hara bechasdei Hashem doing so far and have sufficient instant testing capacity to effectively reopen borders, there may be (long shot) vaccines available, Mashiach may come, the world may give up overall on keeping schools closed and reopen society to non high risk populations... Impossible to know.
I personally think that schools will stay closed to end of school year and reopen in fall, but my prediction is worthless.

I think there almost certainly -will- be seminary next year... the only thing is no one can really say for sure when they will open! Could certainly be September, or after the chagim, or December, or January... My guess would be on the earlier end more likely.

no one knows, no one knows, no one knows, no one knows , except Hashem
But I understand your desire to know , you are not alone in anxiously awaiting a semblance of what to expect.

My current guess is after the chaggim. The schools need to open early enough to run basically normally- January might lose them a lot of their staff, who would need to work somewhere else to get paid, and they need to carry the buildings whether people are in them or not. But waiting until after the chaggim gives them just enough extra time (especially if flights don't open until September) and doesn't send students out visiting right away.
Of course, assuming it's safe. And I would bet they get a bunch of cancellations. It would be interesting to see if they can fill those spots.

I think the seminaries will be open, and Israel's borders will have reopened... But will people be allowed to fly in and attend? That depends on individual countries and factors.

Actually, the healthcare professionals are urging seminaries and yeshivos to open as usual or even slightly earlier so that their students are settled in, by the time the second wave- which hopefully will NOT -come. As it stands now- Israel is letting students in under their seminaries etc, and they have to have quarantine facilities in place for their students. Seminaries and yeshivos are also instigating pre-pandemic planning so you should ask yours what they have organized- theres an article if you want to read up about it- https://healthcareisrael.com/b.....nning
