They are two different recipes. One is rice krispies with marshmallows, and the other is rice krispies with peanut butter (and corn syrup, sugar, etc)
The marshmallow recipe tends to be on the Kellogs Rice Krispies cereal box. I don't remember the measurements, but the ingredients are rice krispies, marshmallows, and margarine.

we have done both, and they freeze wonderfuly. In fact, we put ours l'chatchila in the freezer.
Here's the basic recipe:
RICE CRISPY TREATS
1 or 2 bags miniature marshmallows
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups Kellogg's Rice Crispy Cereal
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add marshmallows.
Stir until mixture becomes difficult to stir any more. Mix in the Rice Crispy Cereal and stir until hot.
Butter a pan (a square pan like a brownie pan) and spread mixture evenly in the pan. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
For those of us who can't get kosher mini marshmallows, we use the Kraft Marshmellow fluff.
We also add chocolate chips and peanut butter in whatever quantity!!

I don't know the exchange between fluff and marshmallows, but if your packet of marshmallows is 8 ounces, use 8 ounces of fluff?
How did we ever survive without google?
I typed in "Substitute marshmallow fluff for marshmallows" and got this:

by the way you could take out all that margarine and just microwave marshmellow or "fluff" and it is ready to mix.
My dd keeps eating all the peanut butter and choc chips lately melts in micro and eats with bannana - go figure - lucky she's skinny

yum thanks
so that is like rice krispies treats but with pb? Have you ever had the peanut butter chews from oh nuts? I want to make something like that. Maybe thats why im not finding a recipe, cuz its not rice krispie treats its something else....
well thanks a ton, I need to buy corn syrup now, but I think im making this for shabbos. I cant handle desserts that take longer than 2 min to prepare lol. more worthwhile to spend that prep time on the food imho...

Re peanut butter I add choc chips and it can be done too with Corn flakes or cheerios u know. The kids keep coming back for more I only do it though for birthdays etc
Concerning the marshmallow rice treat I never use real marshmallows more expensive and harder at melting.
