What to wear under “shvimkleid”?

I’m going to buy my first coverup but not sure what I should wear under it.

Depends what you get. If you get the dress, you can use a reg bathing suit.
I have leggings, skirt and top, so I got a cheap 2 piece bathing suit for under.

I thought shvimkleid was the Yiddish way of saying swim dress.

Although it has buttoms, the shvimkleid doesn’t have any support. You would need to wear a bathing suit underneath if you get my drift.

Some shvim Kleids come with snaps on the bottom, so you wouldn’t need a bathing suit.
If it’s just a dress than wear a bathing suit underneath.

I don’t have a bathing suit, only a two piece that would look bulky underneath. Or a bikini... I guess I’ll try both and see.

Maybe I got grossed out in camp when girls bottoms weren't so fitted. Idk
But somehow I find a bathing suit easier

I wear a swim bra or an old bra I don't mind getting chlorine on. Regular swim bottoms (or an old pair of underwear in a pinch).

I’ve used both a sports bra and a bathing suit and either works.
