they say jews learn the entire torah in the womb and then the malach touches them below the nose to make them forget all they learned, and thats why we have that mark between our nose and lips. what about non jews? they also have that mark, do they learn torah in the womb too?

I looked that up once. It actually doesn't say the malach touches below the nose; it says the malach hits the mouth. I couldn't find a source anywhere that says the mark comes from that.

No, I think they receive the Cliff Notes after they're born, so they can catch up.

I forget the actual source for this, but I was taught that all babies, jewish or not learn the torah in the womb. They then are punched and forget. The reason for the forgetting is to ensure a persons bechira.

Amother, it's in the Gemara.

It doesn't mention the dent under the nose, it says the malach hits the baby on the mouth.
