Any idea ( other than actual underpants that promise no panty lines but the material doesn’t work for me ) that won’t give me panty lines ? Panty hose are too uncomfortable.

"Granny panties" with elastic at the natural curves of the body: at the waist (or the waistband of your clothing) and under the buttocks. Make sure the elastic is quite thin and flat. Panties that cut across the fuller parts of the body are more likely to make visible lines, regardless of the fabric of your clothing. (Someone always comments on panty line threads that you must be wearing thin, clingy fabrics if you have this problem. Not so.)

Boy shorts so the seams are on your thighs and not seen. Seamless with the thin glued down seams work for me as a curvy lady. Slips.
