JUST GOT CONFIRMATION OF PERMISSION FROM YAEL FOR THIS THREAD, with the following caveat:
just be sure to get references or real life contact info before confirming.
Just talking to someone who's trying to figure out a low-cost & safe vacation for a large family. I think we could have a great medium of exchange here for those who are similarly minded. If you are interested in trading homes for a week, please list as follows:

I think you should also add how many guest you would bring and how many guests you would allow into your home. While I have a large house on a large property, I would prefer a small family with older kids only. And I would bring the same.

Glad I made someone laugh! The inside of my apartment is not stinky in the literally sense. It stinks living in 350sq ft. There are a lot of conveniences here though that we are not ready to part with (not restaurants, we don't eat out. More like great doctors we need and none of us drive so it's wouldn't be possible to get in from oot)
The outdoors, oh gosh how it stinks! Trash in this weather is so gross. Plus construction on every side means lots of dust, Ironworks and cigarettes.

Yes those are the only three days that both my boys and girls are off between day camp and the new school year. (ETA: hopefully will start as planned on time) Maybe we could include the Shabbos before that, but my boys still have day camp Friday and they won't want to give up on it.

Another cerise: sure, let me make a disposable phone number for texting or something and then I will post it.

Another royal blue: 350 square feet is too small for my family, but there have been plenty of summers that I wish that I could come to Brooklyn and send my kids to a good day camp, etc....
