Ted Baker dresses come in sizes 0-5, but these are the equivalents based on the Ted Baker size chart.
0=0
1=0-2
2=4-6
3=8-10
4=12
5=14
Anyone knows what size someone would buy in Ted Baker, if they wear an 8 in Elie Tahari? 3?
Whats the reputation of the generosity of the Ted Baker cut? narrow? full?

I buy a lot of ted baker. I would say full.
My daughter wears a 0 she is about a 6 regular sizes.
I wear a 4 I am a full 12

Their bust measurements are tiny. I'm a size two 32D and while I don't remember which sizes I bought, it was always super tight in the chest/arms area. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who isn't flat chested.

I size up because of this. They have such cute midi skirts too, and that wouldn't be an issue there.

Ted Baker is one of the only brands where I find their sizing is incredibly consistent. I'm a Ted Baker 2 and everything I've ever bought from them in a TB 2 fits me perfectly. I'm a 4 or 6 in other brands depending on how those brands fit. If you're usually an 8 then I would say to go for the 3. Their clothes tend to be more structured and fitted and I agree the bust area is sometimes a bit tight. But since the TB sizes correspond to a range of regular sizes (0-2, 4-6, 8-10 etc instead of a single number...) then I still think a 3 is best.
I totally love this brand and own way too much from them! The quality is great.
