I wasn't sure where to put this--this forum seemed like the best place.

I'm trying to get an idea of what it costs to have an in-ground sprinkler system serviced--Fall shut down and Spring start-up.

Would anyone mind telling me what they pay--either for each service, or for a yearly contract?

Thanks.

It will vary by location, and size of sprinkler system (# of zones). I live in Flatbush and have I think 5 zones, and pay about $75 or $80 once in the spring and again in the fall.

I think I pay $150 ish for startup in the spring and same for closure in the fall. Lakewood.

Keep in mind the biggest expense of having a sprinkler system (after the actual install) is the water usage. If you are using regular tap water (as opposed to a well) your water bills can run very very high

I pay about $200 for spring start up, mid year checkup and fall shutdown. I live in northern NJ.
