Is the hechsher there reliable? Any other recommendations for Oakland/San Francisco?

The Hechsher in by the local Modern Orthodox rabbi. There is a grocery store in Oakland called Oakland Kosher that I believe is under the Vaad Harabbanim Northern California (Chabad). There is also Grand Bakery under the same hashgachah (the dairy foods are not cholov yisroel, though).
San Francisco has one restaurant, Sabra, and a kosher deli, the SF New York deli. I believe both are under the Vaad of Northern CA.
