My daughter lost her job in December. She filed for unemployment and received a denial letter. The reasons checked off were “You did not work and earn wages in at least two calendar quarters of your base period” and that she wasn’t paid at least $2600 in one of the calendar quarters of the base period. However, she did and I believe the reason she was denied was she put the wrong employer info
She has the option to appeal with her earnings from 5 base quarters but we’re not sure how to go about getting that info. She has her W-2 and some paystubs, but that’s about it.
Has this happened to anyone else before? Is it possible to make a new claim? I’ve never had to file for unemployment BH so I’m trying to help my dd as best as I can (which isn’t really going good at this time).
