I really need some reading material and find it so hard to order holds online. Are there any libraries in Brooklyn open for in person browsing?

some branches may have a browsing shelf. not many books, but a few. I know that mill basin had at some point.
it is VERY frustrating. I don't know why they can't safetly reopen. they don't need to have tables or computers open... Just come, limit 10 minutes or wtvr, and go.... Limit # of people inside...

I literally remember browsing the website for the status on all locations and this one was open. They must have shut it down again.

I heard that the mapleton branch was open.
In anycase put books on hold and hopefully they will arrive before pesach for pickup.

Choose books on the bpl app. Choose a branch closest to you. You will be notified when it arrives. You have about a week to pick up after notice.
