I had 2 kids stitched on the face, one by each. They both have faint scar. Not super obvious, but it's there.

Personally I'd choose Tarlow. FYI, the face has to be stiched within several hours of injury to best reduce scarring.

As far as I know, Tarlow only does stitches when his office is closed, which is pretty limited hours. 2 of my kids have had their faces stitched by him and he is excellent. One of them had 9 stitches across the face and there is just a faint white line if you know where to look. Never used akerman.
