What is your filling?
I use half amount sugar and half icing sugar as the starch in the icing sugar keeps it in.

Spread a decent amount of oil on the dough before placing the filling

there are fillings that are creamy. There's oil and/or egg whites in the cocoa filling. Along with suga, confection sugar and cocoa.

An awesome tip that I learned is refrigerate the filling before putting it in the dough. It hardens and is much easier to work with.
