So I bought a hot water urn yesterday from someone's moving sale. We were excited at the good deal. The problem is everything works great EXCEPT the pump that is supposed to make the water come out of the faucet doesn't work
I called the person who sold it to me and he said he was so suprised it didn't work because he bought it from someone when it was 6 months old and he never used it. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong and if there's a way to get it to work.
It's the type of faucet that works by vacuum, I think.
This is the model :

It might just be the gumi inside the top. We have had ours for several years, and we now have the same problem, and dh says thats the reason. Unfortunately, the guy who sells these things keeps forgetting to order the right size.

Did you realease the lock ontop of the pump head??? That happened to me. Also the head might not be engaged properly.

If it's on "lock" position, all the pushing in the world won't get the water out. Is there a "lock", "unlock" tab?
