Has anyone had a plumber figure out how to use the filtered hot water tap on shabbos? My husband tried shutting off the valve so no new water could enter the boiling tank, however, since it it is a pressurized system, no water would come out

I think it is an instant boil and doesn’t have a reserve. I am not a plumber, posek, or expert in really anything, but I don’t think there is a way to use it on Shabbos. I hope I am wrong. Good luck.

My friend turns his water boiler off for Shabbos so whatever is left hot in the tank is used. Like a humongous urn. AYLOR

I think you have to turn off the heat source, not the water source, but definitely ask to make sure. I’ve never done it myself.
