Invest in good screens for your windows and doors, replace what is already there if necessary. Keep all food tightly closed to discourage rodents, and be on top of your garbage can level.
For detergent, unless your putting your clothes away damp, they should not get moldy. But some tips to keep the clothes smelling fresh:
1) Put a bounce dryer sheet or potpourri packet in each drawer and on each shelf that clothing and towels will be on
2) Run all your washes with Downy Unstoppables and put at least 2 bounce sheets in each drying load
Enjoy your summer!!

I’ve been to such places and let me tell you, the kids love it way more than a fancy hotel we’ve ever taken them to! The colony we went to had an unheated(!) pool but the kids were never happier!
I never saw mice in our bungalow but I did see droppings in empty bungalows.
You have to get used to putting anything open in the fridge or freezer. Like cereal, pasta...Keeps bugs away.
You can get a bug zapper, ant traps but don’t stress too much. You’ll be living outdoors and will only come in to eat, use the bathroom and go to sleep.
Make sure everyone has slippers/crocs which im sure they’ll have for swimming but they’ll probably want for the bathroom too.
I’m sure your kids will love it there!
