Hi,
I’m looking to get away between camp and school. Driving distance from NY. Need kosher food, a minyan, and activities for kids ages 7-9.
TIA

Thank you for the numerous ideas.
Do these have weekend options as well?
Any recommendations for lodging?
What activities are there to do?

I’m seeing that Jiminy Peak doesn’t have minyan on shabbos? What about food? Don’t think pizza will cut it! 😉

We didn’t go to jiminy peak for shabbos. Went Sunday to Tuesday. We had deli sandwiches one night and a bar b que one night for supper. We brought bread and stuff for lunch one day and had the pizza one day. Shabbos is more complicated we usually go Sunday-Tuesday

Where did you stay?
Do any of the above places have shabbos accommodations, food, minyan?

They all have a minyan. Try to find hotel close to minyan. In Lancaster minyan is in Dutch wonderland. Niagara Falls minyan in Buffalo. Look at godaven.com for minyan in each area. We never stay for shabbos. We bring food. every hotel has fridge. Philly has kosher food store.

Can you suggest some activities to do in Jiminy peak based on your experience? I am planning a trip there and any advice would be great. Kids ages 13-3.
