Chicken Cutlets

My kids keep asking me for "chicken cutlets".

Apparently they keep hearing the term from neighbors

I usually make "schnitzel".

What's your go to recipe for chicken cutlets?

Butter fly so that they are too thick
Or cut into finger size if that’s too hard
Marinate all day in shawarma spice and olive oil and then pan fry, oven bake, or grill
I have a grill pan
You can also add fresh garlic, lemon juice, and herbs
Really what ever you want the spices change up the flavour.
I serve it with israeli salad, Tehina, and if you want pita and French Fries

The secret is marinating in oil

I assume that by schnitzel, you mean breaded and pan fried/baked.

There are dozens of other ways to make cutlets.

Mix 3 T teriyaki sauce, 1 T olive oil, garlic and ginger to taste. Marinate 4 breasts for at least a couple of hours. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Spray cutlets lightly with olive oil, sprinkle with everything but the bagel seasoning, grill until done, turning once.

Heat oil in large pan. Add chopped onion and sautee until soft. Meanwhile, coat cutlets in starch of flour. Add chicken to pan and brown about 5 minutes on one side. Turn chicken over. Add 4 T marsala wine, 2 T sherry, and sliced mushrooms. Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes, until done.

Heat oil in pan. Coat cutlets in flour or starch and pan fry, one minute a side. Transfer to baking dish. Add chopped onions, garlic and bell peppers (a couple at least) to pan and cook 5 to 10 minutes, until soft and releasing juices. Add about 1/4 cup wine and cook off alcohol. Add about 1/2 cup chicken broth and cook a couple minutes more. Pour over chicken and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
