did anyone else here that after Pesach pizza is going up?
where I live I heard its going up from $2.25 to $4

in brooklyn lots of places already went up. I think its 3 dollars instead of 2.50?

I remember when it was $.50 then $.75 and then when it went up to $1, we were flabberghasted Surprised

. It jumped really fast, I think about within a month or two. I don't know if any of you are from canarsie, but I'm talking about at Irvings that was on, I forgot the name of the street, in the corner of the outdoor "shopping center".

actually I am from Canarsie and I remember Irvings. It was on Flatlands
Avenue.

its up to $3 in some places but I heard it's still going up to $4 after peassach...and matzohs next yr r gonna be very very expensive

$4!?!? whoa! I dont go to the pizza store bec of the prices, I usually buy frozen for thursday nights like 2x a month.

I hardly ever buy pizza. probably once or twice a month.

and I'm not a big fan of pizza motzei pesach. I love to eat matzah coffee on motzei pesach, cuz we dont have gebrokts all pesach!

you don't have gebrokts on the 8th day?

We used to get fresh baked rolls from the bakeries in London. thats ALL they made - round white rolls.

A pie in our Yishuv costs the equivalent of about $13. We don't get it very often because 1 pie is simply a tease here.

What do you mean pizza is going up? Everything is going up. Lst year I bought eggs before pesach for 99 cents a dozen. This year it's anywhere from 2.29 to 2.69. At least pizza you can choose not to buy.
