The cold doesn't bother me.. I'm indoors most of the time or will wear boots when I'll be outside for a while.
Shoe palace is selling a few wintery looking slingbacks. I find regular shoes uncomfortable and usually wear slingbacks in summer and boots in the winter. I was wondering if this is really the "new look" cuz it would be a great option for me if it is...or are they meant as slippers for the house?!

If they are selling them now and you like them, of course go for it, especially if it will be beneficial to you! I would go with the bottom one if any, but to each his own!

I think those are slippers. The bottom image does give more of a shoe look but very casual.

When I read the title, I was picturing high heels.
I think these shoes are super cute, and I would wear them. If you work indoors but are on your feet a lot, I think they would be perfect. I think the top one looks more formal, and the bottom one looks more sporty, like for running errands.
IMHO, the only thing that should be "in style" are shoes that don't hurt your feet or damage your spine. The rest is commentary.

The bottom one looks slippery. The other doesn't. As long as cold doesn't bother you and it fits right and is supportive. Go for it

I don't think these are intended as slippers.
They're intended for outdoors.
I can certainly picture them with opaque black tights.
If they work for you, go for it!

I think they’re nice! I’m wearing mules today with black tights. I see a lot of mules and sling back wearing in the city, too.
