ok so I figure I may as well let everyone know how my suppers went/ are going:
tuesday night- veggie soup, dalad with yummy dressing I posted, black and white meat roll, and mashed potatoes
wednesday- butternut squash soup, chicken cooked with potatoes and weet potatoes
thursday- veggie soup, eggplant parmisan and squash latkes
the squash latkes are 1 large squash, 2 potatoes, 3 eggs and salt and pepper

starchy foods are potatoes, sweet potatoes, cabbages, apples, bananas

really? I didn't know apples were included in that list. I try and keep starches down to a minimum or at least one a day per kid in my house. thx for the update Very Happy

my kids are the constipation queens of the universe. after I had to disimpact my then 6 month old several times, I realized it was time to watch the bowel patterns first & feed them afterwards.

a yummy breakfast I have been making this week is snackwich matza!

I wet the matza(you dont have to if you prefer it crisp) put on sliced cheese and then lots (and lots and lots!!) of salsa. cover with another slice of matza and dry fry in taflon pan...
YYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMM!!! I like to serve it with avocado... and a nice cup of shoko...

my yummy breakfast for years has been bananas strawberries & sour cream- peeling the strawberries is a little interesting but it's worth it. My suppers are mostly leftovers from yt, last night we had fish, baked potatoes & fresh pareve vegetable soup. Tonight my husband made some kind of chopped steak & hash brown potatoes. we're not starving over here.

goulash with fried "onyons Tongue Out ", potatoes and sweet potatoes.
If you use salt and honey you can add for flav.
try and get it on the stove early enough, I left it for a real long time and it was yum!
sweet potatoes add a lot of flavor when you don't have too many options

scrambled eggs and fried potato chips, and salad of your choice

where do you get potato chips from? or am I out of luck, b/c I don't eat packaged anything on pesach? Your "onyons" made me smile- my daughter calls them "yonions" & I love to hear her say it.
