My little dd has been complaining at night that "her privates hurt." She holds her v*gina when she says it, not her behind, so I don't think it's pinworms. She also says it hurts, not itches. I tried looking with a flashlight a few times but didn't see anything. What can this be?
UPDATE: I shone a flashlight again to see if there's anything because she complained again. I found a HOLE. Lower than the v*ginal opening theres a small hole on the side. And it smells bad. What on earth? Has anyone ever seen this? Please help, I'm freaking out a little.

If it's at night it is most definitely pin worms . They're in the front too , they're painful and itchy for kids. I'd give her pin worm meds .

I've had one DD who feels pinworms mostly in the front. It happened to me once and it burned terribly!

Like previous posters said, girls get pinworms in front. Treat her for that.

A hole ??? Maybe it's an infection, have you taken her to the pediatrician? Or is it her butt hole ?

Lol no I'm familiar with basic analysis, it's not her butthole.
Thanks for the laugh, though, because I'm panicking.

Want do you see in the hole? Maybe a scab that was pulled off, or a deep cut?

No, it's a deep hole, not just a scab. That's what's concerning me.

It may be MRSA or some other infection. That would cause pain and odor. Definitely get her to the doctor.

What you are describing is a rectovaginal fistula. In this type of fistula, the opening is between your v@gina and the lower portion of your large intestine (rectum).. https://www.mayoclinic.org/dis.....55762
She will definitely need to see a doctor about this, because if left untreated it will continue to give her problems.

This kid needed to be taken to the doctor (and not Dr. Google!) a few days ago.

An infection can cause a hole or odor when it gets very bad. Take her right away to her own doctor, not an urgent care center.
