I got this Brother label maker. I have basic label needs so I think it probably does stuff that I don't use but it works well and is reliable so I would recommend it.
Keep in mind that the labels are relatively small so if you are labeling large boxes then you are much better off just slapping on large labels that you can read from a distance.
These kinds of label makers are intended so that relatively small boxes or even files you are using look tidy. I use them for boxes in my bathroom which are small for example so that when I open something it looks nice.
