Why a joke? My baby's mohel said that he would likely have this issue because it is connected to a tongue tie. Craniosacral is commonly suggested to release "ties" in the body. So far he doesn't have it but I am keeping an eye out.

ETA discussed more in this thread: https://www.imamother.com/foru.....17664

Bumping this up.

My son has a "buried aiver".. Every time I asked over the years, Dr always said he'll outgrow it.

He's 8 kah and it's still not resolved... I always remind him to poke it out fully and wash it etc but then it just goes back in..

Anyone had something similar with any advice??

You should take him to a pediatric urologist. My son outgrew it after a couple of years.

A way to rephrase this to be less offensive might have been, "I've never heard of a connection between tongue tie and this issue. Do you have personal experience?"

It's not nice to accuse people who are trying to help.

I 2nd a pediatric urologist. I had to take my 10-month-old because despite constantly popping it out it eventually got stuck in there TMI

We had to put two weeks of special cream on it and then he popped it out in the office...it eventually healed & actually never went back in.

But they deal w/ this issue, and it's an easy appointment and if you're worried about it it'll definitely ease your mind one way or the other.
